Tyler has a google group! We also call it the “LISTSERV” (when we want to sound old school)
The listserv is used for communicating about everything at Tyler and the PTA. PTA members, room parents, admin and staff, often post things on the listserv whenever they want to notify the entire school of something.
The listserv is the best way to make sure you don’t miss important Tyler news and events, and every family at Tyler should be registered. When you join the listserv you will get emails sent directly to you whenever someone posts something.

To Join the Group:
- Go to the google group page: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/tylerelementary
- If asked, sign in with your email account (if you use your browser for Gmail, you may already be signed in)
- Click “Apply for membership of Contact the Owner”
Once you have a registered email, you can also send a message from your registered e-mail account to: email@example.com, and that message will be sent to everyone at Tyler.
Please remember that all messages posted to this listserv are seen my all members of the tyler community! We try to keep the information at the “official” level as much as possible, that way we make the most of the time people take to read the emails.
If you are having problems joining please send an e-mail to Linsey Silver at: firstname.lastname@example.org, and include your affiliation with the school as well as what type of e-mail you would like to receive (all, digest, none, etc.)
