TYLER PERFORMING ARTS

The mission of the drama club is to educate students about the theatrical arts by engaging them in opportunities to view and attend varied performances and ultimately present a signature spring musical to the Tyler Community. The club strives to foster an appreciation of all forms of performing arts while empowering students through identifying and honing talents.

SPANISH FILM CLUB

This club enriches the development of the Spanish Language for students in grades 2-5 through authentic activities to build community relationships with students across grades and programs by exposing students to the process of filmmaking.

TYLER VISUAL ARTS

AFRICAN DANCE AND DRUMMING

Engages students grades 1-3 in learning the commonalities between rhythmic music and movement through various ethnicities of the diaspora (Latino, African, Caribbean, Australian)

ART CLUB

Provides opportunities for 3-5 students to participate in art competition, help create artworks that will be auctioned at Alchemy of Great Taste, as well as design props for the spring production. Different mediums are explored, and some field trips occur.

DANCE TEAM

Our Dance Team strives to develop healthy self-esteem, positive body image, responsibility, and discipline through the art of dance.
